WorshipWorship of one shape or another is offered in St Richard's every day, giving praise to the one true God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. At St Richard's you will find a friendly worshipping community, who seek to serve the Lord in their daily lives.

What can you expect? The style of worship at St Richard's is probably best described as modern Catholic. With only a few exceptions our services are Eucharistically-based at which vestments are worn and, at sung celebrations, incense is used.
Whilst tradition passed on by the Church over hundreds of years is very important to us, our worship aims to maintain an appropriate balance between formality and informality. FamiliesWe have a growing number of families worshipping with us at St Richard's and children of all ages are welcome.
Once a month, on Saturdays at 4:00pm, we hold a Messy Mass, a family Eucharist service which includes worship, singing and craft activities based on the theme of the day. On a number of special Sundays, such as Harvest Festival, Advent, Mothering Sunday and Easter children actively participate in a Parish family Mass. |
